A recent Wednesday night at Southwest featured beautiful blue skies with some thin clouds, mild temperatures, and a group of about 40 rugby players enjoying their weekly practice on the football field.
The reunion committee looks forward to seeing you at all of the reunion events. Be sure to make plans now for a memorable weekend.
On Friday, October 3rd at 5:30, we will have our casual get-together at City Barrel Brewery & Kitchen, 120 East Gregory, at the corner of Gregory and Rockhill.
Join us on Saturday morning for 9 holes of golf at Heart of America Golf Course, 7501 Blue River Road in Swope Park. Tee time is 10:00 AM, and we will gather for lunch at noon. We are hoping Coach Breckenridge will be able to join us for a birthday celebration. Contact Mike Howard at howie4mu@att.com to reserve your spot. Please note that space is limited for the meal after golf. You do not have to golf to attend the lunch event.
Saturday evening at 5:30 will be our dinner and music celebration at Oakwood Country Club, 9800 Grandview Road, just south of Bannister Road. A group photo will be taken.
We also hope to see you Sunday afternoon from noon to 3 at BB’s Lawnside Blues and BBQ at 1205 East 85th Street, just east of Troost. Please note that the Chiefs are on Monday Night football that week.
